Every tool here fills a gap we could prove existed.
We looked at what architects actually search for and what already answers it. These are the places where there is real demand and either nothing usable or something wrong.
The result is never hidden
No email wall, no signup, no trial. The best methodology in the profession is currently locked behind a form as a spreadsheet. That seemed like a bad reason for an architect not to know their own break-even rate.
Nothing leaves your browser
Salary, overhead and fee figures are sensitive. Everything is calculated locally on your own machine. There is no server to send it to.
We name the source and the date
Fee scales and planning rules change constantly. Where a tool uses a published rule it names the instrument and when it was checked, because an undated source is worse than no source.
Where we cannot verify, you enter it
Some code values could not be confirmed against a primary document. Rather than guess, those tools let you enter your own local figures. It is less impressive and a great deal more honest.

Do you store the numbers I enter?
No. Every calculation runs in your own browser. Salary, overhead and fee figures are sensitive, so there is no server for them to be sent to, and nothing is logged.
Which calculator should I use to price a project?

Are the building code and fee scale figures current?
Each tool names the instrument it uses and the date it was checked, because an undated source is worse than no source. Where a value could not be confirmed against a primary document, the tool asks you to enter your own local figure instead of guessing.
Can I use these for a permit submission or a signed contract?
No. They are planning estimates, not professional advice. Confirm any figure with the relevant authority or a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before it goes into a drawing, a submission or a contract.
