By visiting scalearc.io, using any of the free tools, reading the writing, or submitting the growth audit form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What ScaleArc is

ScaleArc provides growth marketing and automation services for architecture, interior design and design-build practices, described on this site, and publishes free calculators and articles for the same audience. Any paid engagement beyond the free content on this site (the tools and the writing) is confirmed and scoped separately, typically after a growth audit, and is governed by the specific agreement you enter into with ScaleArc at that time. These Terms govern the website itself; they do not replace a signed service agreement where one exists.

2. The free tools are estimates, not professional advice

This is the most important section on this page if you use the free tools. Every calculator on this site, including fee proposals, break-even and pricing calculators, and every regional and code-compliance tool such as FSI/FAR, GFA, occupancy load, and stair or ramp checks, produces an estimate for planning purposes only. It is not architectural, engineering, legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed architect, structural engineer, chartered accountant, or the relevant government or regulatory authority.

Fee scales, building codes, planning rules and unit conversions change, vary by exact city, emirate, state or authority, and are sometimes subject to local amendments a general calculator cannot capture. Before you rely on any figure from this site for an actual project, a permit submission, a contract, or a financial decision, verify it directly with the relevant licensing body, building authority, or a qualified professional in your jurisdiction. 3. Nothing you enter into a tool is sent to us

The calculators run in your browser only. We do not receive, store, or have access to the figures you enter. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, copy, or systematically extract the tools, their underlying logic, or the writing to build a competing product or service
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site
• Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Do not submit false or fraudulent information through the audit request form

5. Intellectual property

The site, its design, the calculators, and the writing are owned by ScaleArc unless otherwise credited. You may use the tools and read the writing for your own business or personal purposes, and you may share a link to a page. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute this content or the tools as your own.

6. No professional relationship

Using the free tools, reading the writing, or submitting the audit form does not create a client relationship, a professional-services engagement, or any obligation on ScaleArc, until a separate service agreement is signed.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the free tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep the tools and the sources they cite current, but we do not guarantee they are error-free or up to date at the moment you use them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScaleArc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site or the free tools, including decisions made on the basis of a calculator's output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid to ScaleArc in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Third-party links

Articles and tools cite external sources, including government and regulatory publications. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites we link to.

10. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the site for anyone who violates these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScaleArc is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith direct discussion; where a signed service agreement specifies a different dispute resolution process or venue, that agreement controls for matters covered by it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
